Kelly originally intended to practice criminal law but shifted to family law after her personal experience in family court revealed how easily attorneys could complicate the process. This motivated her to adopt a more comprehensive, client-centered approach. Kelly uses two strategies: leveraging resolution to avoid unnecessary conflict when appropriate and taking a strong stand for her clients when needed. Her professional background and personal experiences have forged a grounded, relatable style that benefits negotiations. Kelly has significant trial experience for contested cases that don’t settle through mediation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her active 5-year-old son, being outdoors, and doing Crossfit.
